Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SilkDots(“the Service”). By creating an account, posting an ad, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility — adults only

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Any account or listing reasonably suspected of belonging to a minor is removed immediately and may be referred to law enforcement.

2. The Service is a directory only

SilkDots is a directory that lets independent advertisers publish profiles and lets visitors browse them. We are not an agency. We do not employ, dispatch, or broker services. No transaction between an advertiser and a viewer takes place on the Service. Each advertiser is solely responsible for their content, their interactions, their pricing, and their compliance with all laws and regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.

3. Advertiser content and conduct

By posting on the Service you agree:

• You own or have the rights to all photos, text, and other content you upload.
• Your photos accurately depict the advertiser. No stolen photos, no AI-generated portraits, no impersonation.
• Your stated age is your real age. Misrepresenting age is grounds for permanent removal.
• You will comply with all laws applicable in the city where you advertise.
• You won't advertise services that are illegal in the listed location.
• You won't link to or promote third-party scams, malware, or content that violates these Terms.

4. Moderation

We review every new advertiser before they go live, and we review every image change on a live ad before it becomes publicly visible. We may remove any listing, photo, or account at our discretion if it breaches these Terms or our guidelines. Text edits on a live ad (title, description, price, contact info) auto-apply without re-review.

5. Reviews

Only users with a verifiable interaction signal (a contact click or message thread, or an admin grant) can leave a review on a profile. Reviews must be honest, first-person accounts. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic, or appear to be coordinated.

6. Payments, wallet, and boosts — no refunds

All paid features on SilkDots — wallet top-ups, boost purchases, extra ad slots, and any other prepaid balance or feature — are final and non-refundable once the transaction is completed. Wallet balances do not expire but cannot be withdrawn or converted to cash. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read the price, the duration (where applicable), and that you waive any right to a refund or chargeback for the transaction. If a payment fails after the balance was credited, contact us within 7 days with the payment reference and we will investigate; otherwise, all sales are final.

Initiating a chargeback in violation of this section may result in immediate suspension of your account and forfeiture of any remaining balance.

7. Account security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We log device fingerprints and login events to help you spot suspicious activity in your settings.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, our guidelines, or applicable law. You can delete your account from the dashboard at any time; deletion is final and removes your ads and reviews.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is.” We don't warrant that any listing is accurate, that any advertiser will respond, or that any encounter will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SilkDots is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from your interaction with any advertiser.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
